Example Itinerary/Schedule

Please note you don't need to choose anything. We schedule the itinerary. Every day many hours of moving, the rest is, eat, talks, wellness, laugh and spa visits.

Start and finish Times will vary from 08.15 to 09.30 and 17.30 to 18.15.


TYPICAL DAY


07.00 - Leisure Center Opens - Full unlimited access


* Heated Pool

* Sauna

* Jacuzzi

* Steam Room 

* Gymnasium


07.30 - Early hotel breakfast option. (Last entry 09.25). 

Juices, Yogurts, Fruit, Mixed Cut Up Fruit Bowl, Cereals, Milks, Breads, Toast, Cooked Breakfast. (Vegetarian Options Also). Choose. (Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Eggs, 

Potato Scone, Hash Brown, Sausage, Bacon). 

(Or fast).

08.15 - Self Warm up in gym before Fitness Booster.


08.40 - Arrive to the hall (old squash court), next to the treatment room and opposite changing rooms.


08.45 - Fitness Booster (eg, Tabata, Hit, Circuits, Boxing). Muscle & Power Strength Body Boost using powerful power moves from body conditioning, hit, pilates, ab blast, circuits, power pump yoga, fun fit. Mixed up to get your heart pumping.

(Note! All fitness classes are decided on the day. This is to accommodate guests who stay 7 nights so they always have a variety). 


09.00 -The 5 Tibetan Rites, followed by a Yoga Flow 


10.30 - Break. Plug into one of your room wellness machines. Or. (If no hotel breakfast chosen, you can choose food from the new bistro menu). 


11.30 - Walk and Talk. (all weathers). 60 to 90 minutes. (Drymen is the official day two of the famous seven day hike, The West Highland Way). We take you on amazing guided daily walks featuring Loch Views, spectacular Mountain View Point, Forest Streams and Mini Waterfalls, Hidden Castles, Millionaires Row, Christmas Tree Forest, Rob Roy Trail, Equestrian Center and Forest Trail.


13.00 - Lunch. 2024 choices will be food freedom eat in the bistro or an arranged calorie controlled take away food or soup. (Or sit in, eat from the menu if no food programme booked).

New Arrivals check in, change and meet in hotel conservatory. Check in is 3pm. However arrive early and join the talk. 


14.45 - Talk. Nutrition. Juicing. Life Coaching. Mindfulness. Soul Cards. Positive Circle. Tarot Angel Cards. …….. (Talk decided the night before to accommodate long stay guests to have variety). Location hotel conservatory.


15.45 - Everyone meet in hotel lobby.

15.50 - As a group go to the heated studio.


16.00 or (16.30) Fitness fun, laughs, games, giant fitness monopoly, giant play your card right games, crazy toy circuits, student play teacher, roulette fitness cards, team building games.


16.45 Yoga Flow and positive story and one breath one move, then RELAX DESTRESS RECHARGE with Nidra or Meditation, Sound Bath Music, Yin, Restorative, Hypnotic Sleep, Body & Mind Reset, Visualization, Manifestation (or a mix of all). Decided on the day to accommodate 7 day guests weekly variety. 


Location in the afternoon. Heated mountain view charity owned studio above the village hall. (Spectacular views). Few minutes walk from the hotel. We heat here then change the ambiance with blackout blinds, mood lighting and cleansing rock salt lamps. (Local residents we have limited space for you to join - send a text). 



18.00 - Get your take away soup (or freedom to dine out if you didn’t book a detox food package).

18.00 - 19.30 - If you haven’t booked a detox take away juice and soup package you have freedom to dine anywhere. 


19.30 - ADULTS ONLY ZONE TIME. The leisure center pool, sauna, steam and jacuzzi, dim the lights, play music and it becomes an ADULTS only zone.

* Arrive at anytime and start, and finish the same time on checkout day. (Or pay a supplement and do extra). If the retreat hasn’t been running the day before, start time will be between 15.15/15.45. Always check your start time.


* Arriving before checking in. Put your bag in the luggage room opposite reception, take what you need and change in the leisure center. £1 coin for lockers. (Always let us know your exact start time to join us)


* Hotel room checkin is from 15.00 hours. 






Please note the weekly itinerary below is used when we run private bespoke retreats in the cottages. Minimum 3 people required, minimum booking 3 days. If not booking a bespoke cottage retreat then you will do the itinerary above and stay in the hotel.

Types of yoga are Hatha, Vinyasa, Sometimes Yin, Restorative. 

On retreat it has been known to have a 1.5 hour class with a mixture of several styles in one class.



Retreat Scotland was born in our guest house before moving our programme to the 3 Star spa hotel. We still offer guest house private retreats if you wish to get a group of you together. We do our own food when running from our guest house.
